Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 22 September 2026
These terms cover your account on MahadevBook: who may open one, how money moves in and out, how bets are accepted and settled, and when we can close or restrict an account.
1. Accepting these terms
When you register an account, you agree to these terms, to the Rules & Regulations that govern individual markets and games, to the Privacy Policy, and to the Exclusion Policy. Read them before you deposit. If you do not agree with something here, do not place a bet.
We may change these terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes. Material changes will also be shown to you as a notice inside the site. Continuing to use the account after a change means you accept the updated terms. The version shown on this page is the version that applies.
2. Who can open an account
- You must be at least 18 years old. We hold a date of birth on your account and we may ask you to prove it. An account opened by someone under 18 will be closed and stakes returned where we are able to identify them.
- The service is intended for customers in India. We do not market it anywhere else and we make no claim that it is lawful for you to use from another country. Whether you may take part is your responsibility.
- One account per person. One person, one name, one set of contact details, one payment identity. Extra accounts opened by the same person, household or device may be closed and any promotional balance removed from them.
- You must register in your own name and use payment details that belong to you. We do not accept deposits or pay withdrawals through someone else's bank account or UPI ID.
- You must not open an account if you are currently self-excluded here. See the Exclusion Policy.
3. Your account and your login
Your username and password are yours to protect. Anything done after a correct sign-in is treated as done by you, so do not share the login, do not let someone else place bets for you, and change the password immediately if you think someone else has seen it.
You can set an anti-phishing phrase in Settings. Every account email we send will contain it. An email that claims to be from us and does not contain your phrase is not from us, so ignore it and do not click anything in it.
Keep your contact details current. We use them for account notices, payment queries and security checks. If we cannot reach you, we may have to hold a withdrawal until we can.
4. Checks we may run
We may ask you at any time for proof of identity, proof of age, proof of address, or proof that a payment method belongs to you. We may do this before a first withdrawal, after a change of payment details, or where a pattern looks like it involves more than one person.
While a check is open we may pause withdrawals on the account. We will tell you what we need. Refusing to provide it, or providing documents that do not match the account, is a reason for us to close the account under section 12.
5. Deposits
- Deposit through the methods shown on the deposit page. The minimum and maximum for each method, and any charge the provider applies, are shown at the moment you choose it. Those figures can change without notice because they come from the payment provider.
- A deposit is only usable once it is confirmed and credited to your wallet. Bank and UPI confirmation can lag behind the payment. If a deposit has not appeared after a reasonable wait, contact the help centre with the reference number rather than paying again.
- Send exactly the amount you entered, from the account you told us about. Underpayments, overpayments and payments from a different account have to be handled by hand and take longer.
- Your wallet is for betting on this site. It is not a savings account, it earns no interest, and it is not a way to move money between people.
- A daily deposit limit is available in Settings. Once set, deposits above it in a 24 hour window are refused.
6. Withdrawals
- Request a withdrawal from your wallet. Requests are reviewed before payment. Review is not automatic and is not instant.
- We pay to an account in your own name. A withdrawal to a third party will be refused and the money returned to your wallet.
- We may hold a withdrawal while bets are still open, while an identity check under section 4 is running, while a deposit used for those bets is still being confirmed, or while we investigate something under section 10.
- Where a promotion carried a condition, that condition has to be met before the related balance can be withdrawn. The condition is stated with the promotion. See Promotions.
- Withdrawal minimums, maximums and processing windows are shown on the withdrawal page. Bank timings and provider downtime are outside our control.
Depositing and immediately withdrawing without betting is not a service we offer. Where an account is used that way we may refuse the withdrawal, return the funds by the route they arrived on, and close the account.
7. Placing and settling bets
A bet exists only once our system has accepted and confirmed it. Until the confirmation appears, nothing has been staked. If your connection drops while you are submitting a bet, check your open bets before trying again.
Odds move. The price you see can change between the moment you tap and the moment the bet reaches us, and some markets carry a short delay before acceptance. Your bet is settled at the price recorded on the confirmed bet, not at the price you saw on screen.
Settlement, voiding, abandoned matches, market limits and how each market is defined are set out in full in the Rules & Regulations. Those rules form part of these terms.
You can see every bet and its result in your bet history and profit and loss pages. If a settlement looks wrong, raise it through the help centre and quote the bet reference. See section 13.
8. Obvious errors
Sometimes a price, a market or a result is plainly wrong: a decimal point in the wrong place, a market left open after play has started, a feed reporting the wrong score, a game round that did not complete. These are errors, not offers.
Where an obvious error has affected a bet, we may void the bet and return the stake, or resettle it at the price that should have applied. We do the same whether the error was in your favour or in ours. Section 4 of the Rules & Regulations explains when a bet is voided.
9. Bonuses and promotions
Any bonus, cashback, referral commission or VIP benefit is offered at our discretion and carries the conditions published with it on the Promotions page or in the offer itself. A promotional balance is not the same as a deposited balance and can be removed if the condition attached to it is not met.
Promotions are for individual customers playing for themselves. We may withdraw an offer, exclude an account from future offers, or reverse a credit where an account uses a promotion in a way it was not meant to be used. Common examples are listed in section 10.
10. Conduct that is not allowed
- Holding or using more than one account, or acting together with other accounts to get around a limit or to claim an offer more than once.
- Collusion: two or more accounts betting on opposite sides of the same market to convert a bonus or to move a balance between people.
- Automated betting: bots, scripts, or any tool that places bets or scrapes odds without our written agreement.
- Betting on an event whose result you already know, or where you have inside information about it, including as a participant or official.
- Using a payment method you are not entitled to use, or reversing a deposit through a chargeback or dispute instead of contacting us.
- Hiding where you are, or giving us details that are not true, in order to open or keep an account.
- Exploiting a fault. If something on the site is clearly broken and paying out when it should not, tell us. Continuing to play it is not a win we will honour.
Where any of this happens we may void the affected bets, recover money credited because of it, restrict the account, and close it under section 12.
11. Responsible gambling
Betting is entertainment and it costs money over time. The controls on this site are real and they work immediately: a daily deposit limit, a daily loss limit, a cool-off of 1, 6 or 24 hours, and self-exclusion for 1 day, 7 days, 30 days or permanently. All of them are in Settings, under the Responsible tab.
Read Responsible Gambling for what each one does, and the Exclusion Policy for what happens after you use exclusion. We may also apply a limit or close an account ourselves if we believe play is causing harm.
12. Suspension and closure
You can close your account at any time by asking the help centre. Any confirmed balance that is yours to withdraw will be paid out, subject to the checks in section 4.
We may suspend or close an account where:
- a requirement in these terms has been broken;
- an identity, age or payment check has failed or has not been answered;
- we are required to do so, or we believe the account is being used for fraud or to move money that is not yours;
- the account is being used in a way that suggests gambling harm; or
- the account has been dormant for a long period.
If we close an account we will return the balance that is genuinely yours. We will not return money that came from voided bets, from a promotion used against its conditions, or from a payment that was not yours to make.
13. Complaints
Raise it with us first through the help centre or by email to support@example.com. Include your username, the bet or transaction reference, the date and time, and what you think should have happened. Screenshots help.
We look at the server record of the bet or transaction, which is what decides the outcome. We will tell you what we found and why. Raise a settlement complaint within 30 days of the settlement so the match data is still available to check.
14. What we are and are not responsible for
- We are responsible for settling your confirmed bets according to the published rules and for paying out balances that are properly yours.
- We are not responsible for your internet connection, your device, your bank, or the time a payment provider takes.
- Live scores, statistics, streams and third party game results come from outside providers. We show them for convenience. Where a provider is wrong or goes down, settlement follows the Rules & Regulations, not the screen.
- The site may be unavailable for maintenance or because of a fault. We do not compensate for lost betting opportunity. Open bets are settled once service returns.
- We are not liable for losses you chose to take. A losing bet is a losing bet.
15. Tax
Your tax position is yours. We do not give tax or legal advice, and nothing on this site should be read as advice about what you owe or do not owe. Where we are obliged to deduct something from a payout, the amount is shown on the transaction. Speak to your own adviser about anything beyond that.
16. Messages from us
We will contact you about your account, your payments and security by the channels you registered with, including in-site notices. You can turn marketing messages off without losing account notices, which we have to be able to send you.
17. The site itself
The pages, layout, text, logos and software on this site belong to us or to our providers. You may use the site to bet on your own account. You may not copy it, resell access to it, or take the odds feed for use somewhere else.
18. General
- If one part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- Not enforcing something straight away does not mean we have given up the right to enforce it later.
- You may not transfer your account or your balance to anyone else.
- These terms, together with the Rules & Regulations, the Privacy Policy and the Exclusion Policy, are the whole agreement between us about your account.
- Governing law and the forum for any dispute follow the registered company details published at the foot of this page. Ask the help centre in writing if you need them stated for a formal matter.
